The Fiji National Security and Defence Review (NSDR) is a strategic vision that will help Fiji navigate the many complex challenges that threaten Fiji’s sovereignty and stability. Minister for Home Affairs and Immigration Pio Tikoduadua during the launch of the NSDR at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva yesterday said: “The modern security landscape is marked by challenges such as cyber threats, climate change, transnational crime, and geopolitical pressures. “These challenges require Fiji to be agile and proactive.

“One of the critical elements in this review is the call for a whole-of government and whole-of-society approach to security. “In this framework, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Fiji Police Force play vital roles, but they must work alongside other government agencies, civil society, and the private sector. “National security is not the responsibility of a single entity—it is a shared responsibility that touches all of us.
