Cronulla CBD businesses are being warned to be on the alert after recent security incidents at several premises.

Cronulla CBD businesses are being warned to be on the alert after recent security incidents at several premises. or signup to continue reading Elke Barker, event manager at Italian restaurant Pino's Vino e Cucina al Mare, in Surf Road, told the , "On the 30th of August, we experienced an attempted break-in involving three men and one woman, all appearing to be in their early 20s. "They caused damage to our doors and windows but were ultimately unsuccessful in gaining access.

"Unfortunately, one of the same individuals returned on Sunday and freely entered the restaurant, asking my staff if we were accepting cash payments, which raised further concerns." Ms Barker said the incidents had been reported to police. She had also learnt two other businesses had also been targeted.



"Given the unusual activity in Cronulla, I believe it's important to raise awareness within the community to ensure we all remain vigilant and safe," Ms Barker said.
