Traditional wooden and iron chairs in schools can be rigid and uncomfortable, leading to a range of issues for students. These include boredom, lack of focus, and even mental distress. Fortunately, there is a simple solution: school administrations can provide chairs with foam cushioning, enabling students to sit comfortably and remain relaxed.

This small change can have a significant impact on their concentration and capacity to learn. When students feel physically at ease, they are more likely to stay engaged and participate actively in lessons. This, in turn, boosts their confidence and motivation to learn.

From personal experience, I can attest to the importance of comfortable seating. At the public library in Hub, which uses rigid wooden chairs, I found it difficult to study for more than four hours. In contrast, the libraries at Professor’s Academy and the School of Intensive Teaching (SIT) offer comfortable seating, allowing me to study for over seven hours without distraction.

BZU administration evicts illegal occupants I urge school administrators to prioritise comfortable seating for students. Doing so will foster a more conducive learning environment and enhance academic performance. Ignoring this issue may lead to long-term consequences, so it is essential to act now.
