Saturday will be a bit breezy at times, but for much of the region, we are tracking sunshine and a few warmer days ahead.

We start off the weekend with a little bit of a breezy day today. Winds will be out of the northwest at 15-25 mph for much of southeast Minnesota, which keeps highs in the 40s for most of the day today. However, by tonight, we will start to see that breeze turning to out of the west.

The west breeze will stay lighter, around 10-20 mph through the day on Sunday, and will help bring in a warmer day to wrap up the weekend. Highs get to the mid-50s by Sunday afternoon for most of the Rochester area, but we have one more cool day before we are looking at a stretch of warmer weather. ADVERTISEMENT Monday brings that breeze back to out of the north at 10-20 mph yet again, and that will bring in one more cool-down, with highs in the 30s to start the week.

However, for the rest of the week, we will be warming up gradually. Highs get back into the 40s by Tuesday, and then for the rest of the week highs hover close to 60°..
