Dorset Council has agreed that the owner of the four-storey Penn House at Brunswick Terrace can make the change to provide four 1-bed flats and one maisonette. No external changes are planned for the building, which dates from the 1830s, apart from a new, small window to the rear. The owners say they tried to market the business as a going concern but were unable to find a buyer, confirmed by a local estate agent in a letter to the Council.
The details of the application can be found on the Dorset Council website using the references P/FUL/2024/07021.
