Seafront incident prompts road closure and emergency response

Emergency services have been called to an incident on Ryde Esplanade on the Isle of Wight. The road is currently closed. The County Press has been told a man is lying on the floor, outside LA Bowl.

Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are in attendance, as is the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has been contacted for comment. More follows.
