
Sea Win, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA, is recalling 650 cases of Frozen Half Shell Oysters from South Korea, harvested on Jan. 30 and Feb.

The California Department of Public Health flagged the oysters after linking them to multiple illnesses, prompting the recall.Norovirus can cause diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, stomach cramps, fever and chills, with symptoms kicking in 12 to 48 hours after consumption and lasting up to two days.
The FDA warns severe cases could hit harder in those with weakened immune systems. No specific case count has been released.The recalled product, labeled KR 7 SP, was distributed to wholesalers in Los Angeles and Irvine, CA.
