With its - vampire meets girl, vampire wants to bite girl, girl wants to be bitten, but vampire must resist for the girl’s own good - plotline, the saga both romantic and cringe, remains a fan-favorite. In the five-film series, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) falls for vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).
But her growing friendship with werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) also steals the limelight. Their infamous love triangle still divides fans between Team Edward or Team Jacob, and the heated discussion was recently reignited after Taylor Lautner, 32, put a Twilight twist to a camera-flip TikTok trend. Lautner took a dig at Edward Cullen in his take on the viral videos, where users make bold claims before pretending to accidentally flip cameras on their faces to reveal their identities.
The 32-year-old expressed his controversial opinion while the marriage scene of Bella and Edward from Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 played on the TV screen. “Honestly screw Edward. Bella should have ended up with Jacob,” Lautner captioned the clip before pretending to flip to camera to his face and seemingly dropping his phone.
