This time, the story introduces a new family dynamic, with Isabel May cast as Sidney’s grown daughter , as confirmed by Variety . May, known for her standout roles in the Yellowstone prequel series 1883 and 1923 , takes on her first major blockbuster role in the upcoming slasher sequel.
The seventh installment in the franchise will explore the Prescott family more deeply, building on Sidney’s last appearance in Scream (2022), where she was shown as a new mother. Now, with her child grown, Sidney is poised to return to the center of the action, facing off once again against Ghostface.
