Scotts Bluff County to get $35,046 from self-insurance group

Ten Panhandle counties will share a combined $117,079 in 2024 cash dividends returned to members of the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association.

Ten Panhandle counties will share a combined $117,079 in 2024 cash dividends returned to members of the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association. The intergovernmental risk management system and self-insurance program split $1 million in dividends among 83 member counties and eight county-associated agencies at its annual meeting Friday in Kearney. Scotts Bluff County, the region’s largest, will receive a $35,046 dividend check from NIRMA this year.
