Scotland, Kalekyezi, Fordyce capture divisional titles

Rebel Junior Tennis Championship Gerald Scotland, Paula Kalekyezi, and Michael Fordyce captured individual crowns when the curtains came down on the Smalta/Rebel Junior Tennis Championship at the GBTI court in Diamond, East Bank Demerara. In the Boy’s U-18 decider, Scotland bested Nathan DeNobrega 6/2, 2/6, 10/4. In the Girl’s U-18 final, Kalekyezi dispatched Kimora Erskine 6/0, 6/1.

In the Boy’s U-12 final, Fordyce overcame Rafeeq Prince 4/2, 4/5(2), 10/8. Meanwhile, Scotland also claimed gold in the Boy’s Doubles division..
