Though the game is still in development, it has already gotten its first content update in a short time, and it is still maintaining a massive player count even after a few weeks have passed.

And now, fans are calling out one achievement in-game they think is “racist.” Schedule 1 players call out “racist” Indian Dealer achievement As pointed out by a user in a post on X , the achievement in question refers to the “Indian Dealer” one, where you’re required to sell a product to a customer, and then quickly pickpocket it back from them. Out of all the achievements currently available in-game, this is the only one that mentions a specific race – and some fans think it’s insensitive.
Tagging the creator, Tyler, the user who brought attention to this said that while they love the drug-dealing game, he claimed this achievement is “incredibly racist” as it’s the only one “specifying a race.” With that in mind, they asked if the achievement could be removed. A different account who shared the same sentiment, writing that this achievement “uses a racist phrase tied to harmful stereotypes”, elaborated why this is the case.
They explained that the term “Indian Dealer” is “based on the harmful phrase ‘Indian Giver.” Related How many people play Schedule 1? Words like these reinforce false narratives and cause harm, especially when normalized in games we love,” they wrote. They added: “This is the only achievement in Schedule 1 tied to racist language. We’re asking [the developers] to please consider removing or renaming this achievement.
