BERKELEY COUNTY — South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that left one person dead just west of the community of Huger in Berkeley County. According to Master Trooper Gary Miller, troopers responded to a crash on Cainhoy Road near Cedar Hill Road just before 6:30 a.m.
on Nov. 2. Suspect arrested in Orangeburg after 2 North Charleston cops collide during pursuit The only vehicle involved was a 2002 GMC SUV.
Miller said the car was traveling west on Cainhoy Road when it went off the right side of the road, lost control, and flipped over. The driver was the only person in the vehicle and is deceased, Miller said. The identity of the driver has not been released.
