'Saw Women's Innerwear, Stole It': Techie in Bengaluru Suburb Caught, Cops Blame Porn Addiction

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old engineering graduate was arrested allegedly for stealing innerwear of the girls living in his locality in Tumakuru, about 70 kms away from Karnataka’s Bengaluru. The incident came to light when the female students reported the matter to their building owner. Considering it a serious issue, the owner on Friday informed the New Extension Police about it, who immediately launched an investigation in the matter.

During the investigation, the police checked CCTV camera footage in the area to find out who was stealing the clothes. It is when the police spotted a man stopping his two-wheeler near the students' house and taking away the innerwear secretly. The accused has been identified as Sharath, a resident of IV Cross, SIT, Tumakuru, said a report by TOI.



Addicted to Blue Films The police took him into custody for interrogation, where he confessed to the crime. Sharath told the police that he was addicted to watching porn videos and he had also stolen the innerwear from houses in SIT area, SS Puram and Ashoknagar of that city. He stated that he was returning home after swimming when he saw the innerwear hanging, and stole it.

Sharath’s parents are teachers by profession, while his elder brother is an engineer. All of them were unaware of his behaviour and the addiction until the police reached them.

The girls also refused to give any official statement on the issue, added the media report.
