Saturday Kitchen welcomed Josh Widdicome to the show today (Saturday, November 16) and he almost gave himself a serious injury. Matt Tebbutt rustled up some fondue for the show’s funnyman guest, and Josh couldn’t help testing out the burner which would melt the cheese. After rubbing the pot with a garlic clove, the host put it next to the burner which was producing a scorching hot blue flame.
Josh placed his hand over the flame before instantly realising his mistake and pulling away. “Whoah, hot!” he exclaimed, provoking laughter from the rest of the show’s guests. Matt replied sharply, “Yeah, yeah, watch your hand.
” However, Josh’s curiosity got the better of him and he placed his hand over again, though at a higher distance from the flame. “Ooh!” he yelled again, yanking his hand back. “It’s a blue flame, you can’t see it,” Matt explained.
