The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) on Friday announced abolishing Saturday holiday in Islamabad's educational institutions from November 30 to February 1, 2025. Without referring to the PTI's three-day long protest, a notification stated that the closure of educational centres badly affected regular academic activities, therefore, the FDE decided to abolish the Saturday holiday in all institutes, including schools and colleges. The order will come into effect from November 30 to February 1, 2025, it added.
