More than 80 eateries are gearing up for one of the most popular food festivals in Spa City. Saratoga Chowderfest, which is slated for Saturday, Feb. 8, will bring thousands out to sample a range of rich and creamy soups.
Organized by Discover Saratoga, the long-running festival has previously brought in more than 30,000 people, with restaurants serving more than 111,000 bowls of chowder. This year, it runs from 11 a.m.
to 4 p.m. and Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs will be closed to vehicular traffic from Lake Avenue to Washington Avenue between 10 a.
m. and 4:30 p.m.
Four free shuttles will run from Saratoga Casino Hotel between 10 a.m. and 5 p.
