
Sarasota Opera will celebrate its apprentice and studio artists in the “Salute the Stars” event on March 25.This year’s class of apprentice and studio artists will be presented with awards by Sarasota and Manatee Opera Guild alumni, among others. Also during the event guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch and performances by the awardees.
Sarasota Opera’s winter 2025 apprentice artists are Matteo Adams, Christian Davakis, Victoria Mcgrath, Sandra Aldaz Meraz, Michael Deshield, Maya Mcguire, Christine Alfano, Xochitl Hernandez, Margaret Meierhenry, Emily Anderson, Henry Horstmann, Zeky Nadji, Talar Arslanian, Timothy Krueger, Jose Olivares, Adriel Baralt Jimenez, Alexandra Kzeski, Lindsey Polcyn, Serafina Belletini, Collin Lahood, Williiam Raskin, Charles Daniel, Rachel Magil, and Jackson Schroeder.Gabrielle Barkidjija, Kyle Dunn, Sara Kennedy, Andrew Boisvert, Tessa Fackelmann, Alejandro Luévanos, Eric Botto, Riley Findley, Lauren Paul, Jeremy Brauner, Steve Groth, John Potvin, Jamila Drecker-Waxman, Paul Leland Hill, and Joylýn Rushing make up the winter 2025 class of studio artists.Since 1982 Sarasota Opera has welcomed apprentice artists who make up the chorus and perform in all main stage productions.
