PUNE: Putting an end to the record test winning streak, Team India stumbled in front of New Zealand on the fourth day of the Pune test gifting a remarkable win for the black caps. Chasing a target of 359 runs, India were bowled out for 245 runs in the 61st over. The last test match is on November 1.

Kiwi spinner Mitchell Josef Santner was in a league of his own in Pune taking six crucial wickets including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Only Yashasvi Jaiswal survived the Santner scare to help India reach a decent score. Jaiswal scored 77 runs off 65 balls with nine fours and three sixes.



Apart from Jaiswal, Shubman Gill scored 23 runs in 31 balls including four fours, Virat Kohli scored 17 runs in 40 balls including two fours and Washington Sundar scored 21 runs in 47 balls including two fours. Ravindra Jadeja offered a late cameo but couldn't stand long under the Kiwi spin attack..
