Of those who reported problems, 94 per cent said they were struggling to login on their personal mobile. Meanwhile, three per cent said the issue was with instant payments, while the remaining three per cent said they could not login via the web. While Santander is yet to comment on the outage, several users have flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to vent their frustrations.

'Anyone else having issues logging into their #Santander online banking? I have changed all my passwords, etc, as instructed and still can't log in!' one user tweeted. Another added: '@santanderukhelp unable to login using the Santander app this morning. It’s stuck on the login screen.
