Christmas comes early to Icon Autographs in late November. The Niagara Falls memorabilia store will host its first holiday celebration on Nov. 30 at its Fallsview Boulevard location with free photos and autographs with Santa Claus and “Home Alone” cast member Larry Hankin.
Hankin appeared as Sgt. Larry Balzak in the 1990 Christmas classic but is perhaps better known for his memorable characters in two legendary sitcoms. He was Mr.
Heckles in five episodes of “Friends” and Tom Pepper on “Seinfeld,” the actor cast as Kramer in the show-within-a-show “Jerry.” He has also appeared in films like “Escape From Alcatraz,” “Pretty Woman” and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.” Icon Autographs president and new city Coun.
Chris Dabrowski said the event is a way for “families and fans to connect with their favourite celebrities and pop culture icons” during the Christmas season. The day will include free popcorn, refreshments and specials on the store’s autographed items. It runs from noon to 4 p.
m. Icon Autographs is located at 6455 Fallsview Blvd., inside the Wyndham Fallsview Hotel.
Donations will be accepted for Spread Joy Like Jordy, which helps to fill holiday stockings for children across Niagara..
