Vishwanath Samson, father of Indian cricketer Sanju Samson, has openly expressed his frustration with the top Indian cricketers. In an interview with Kerala-based Media One, Vishwanath alleged that MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli , Rohit Sharma, and Rahul Dravid, hindered Sanju’s career progression by denying him consistent opportunities on the international stage. According to Vishwanath, this lack of support has effectively cost his son 10 years in the sport, India Today reported.

Vishwanath believes that his son’s struggles could have been mitigated with greater encouragement and sustained opportunities, particularly from India’s past and present cricketing leadership. Vishwanath did not hold back when addressing his grievances, directly calling out former and current captains, as well as former head coach Rahul Dravid.

.’ Sehwag Recalls When Dhoni Entered The Ground To Challenge The Umpires Vishwanath Samson also addressed former cricketer Kris Srikkanth’s past remarks. Srikkanth had allegedly downplayed Sanju’s maiden T20I century against Bangladesh, a moment that many of Sanju’s supporters viewed as a breakthrough achievement.

Vishwanath alleged that Srikkanth’s comments were dismissive and that his words unfairly undermined Sanju’s accomplishments. Samson is currently playing T20 cricket against South Africa and scored a century in the first game on November 8. His 107 runs in 50 deliveries propelled India to a massive score of 202, and the team scored an easy win by 61 runs.

According to the BCCI , Samson has played 16 ODI games and has scored one century and three half centuries in 14 innings. In T20 Internationals, he has planed 32 innings in 36 matches and scored two centuries and two half centuries.
