FARGO — Sanford Health is rolling out a new program designed to help people explore careers in health care through firsthand experience. The Genesis Program is a four-week apprenticeship open to anyone 18 and older. Participants will have the chance to shadow professionals in 10 different positions across Sanford’s departments.
Sanford officials say the initiative is unique in its scale, providing a behind-the-scenes look at various roles in the health care system. "When you're looking for a job, it's difficult to see what it’s really like just from a job description," said Lukas Eide, Sanford talent acquisition administrator. "So, we give that opportunity to come in, meet the team, meet the hiring managers, get to know everybody, and see if it's a good fit.
" The program is designed to help individuals discover the right career path before committing to training or schooling in a specific field. To apply for Sanford's Genesis Program, visit their website: Sanford Genesis Program ..
