A Bristol institution has been asked to create a sandwich inspired by Venom in honour of the Tom Hardy films, to celebrate the 'home premiere' of Venom: The Last Dance. Sandwich Sandwich posted a video to its Instagram page which saw a character in a hood, who later transforms into the Spiderman villain, order the new variety at a Sandwich Sandwich branch. The sandwich is fittingly black in colour, thanks to its charcoal brioche bun.

Alongside the video, the Sandwich Sandwich team wrote: "A collaboration no-one could see coming. When Sony knock on your door and ask you to create a Venom inspired sandwich, you don't turn it down. "Here's what's inside; Charcoal brioche bun, cornflake fried chicken thigh, spring onion and pickled cucumber mayo, black garlic and treacle drizzle.

" In the comments, the team confirmed that it's available in stores now, adding: "If you like sweet, salty and spicy then this one's for you." They also tagged the 'Sonypicsathome' Instagram account in their post. Taking to the comments section, fans of the beloved sandwich shop - which now boasts branches in Bristol and London - were quick to share their excitement.

One said: "Wait what? Guess you're playing in the big leagues now." A second wrote: "Gotta hand it to Sandwich Sandwich, they go IN on their marketing." A third commented: "And it's bloody delicious!" While a fourth said: "Literally running to the shop tomorrow!".
