KOCHI: Sandra Thomas has been expelled from the film producers’ association. The producers’ association has taken action against Sandra, also an actress, for breach of discipline. Sandra Thomas had filed a complaint that the association office bearers had summoned her to a meeting in connection with film distribution and then spoke in an insulting manner.

A strict rule should be introduced that those in positions of power should not be influential, clear political party activists, caste organization office bearers, or organization office bearers related to the film industry. Crimes of a criminal nature that occur on film sets or studios should be reported to the police station itself, without settling them within the organizations,’ Sandra Thomas mentioned in the letter.
