SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- 4/20 will be extra special for San Diegans that consume cannabis as the area's first-ever cannabis lounge is opening in time for the big day. Sessions by the Bay, San Diego's first consumption lounge and cannabis dispensary, is opening to the public April 18-20, 2025, at 700 Bay Marina Drive in National City with views of San Diego Bay. At the cannabis lounge and dispensary, adults can buy and consume cannabis and choose from an assortment of non-alcoholic drink and food options, thanks to a partnership with a restaurant next door.
The dispensary at Sessions by the Bay is holding its soft opening on Monday, April 7, starting at 11 a.m., for the community to come get an exclusive first look and to shop their favorites at the dispensary.
