San Diego State's Aztec FAST Showcase features a not so traditional spring finale.

KUSI (SAN DIEGO) - Out at San Diego State, the football team putting on their Aztec FAST Showcase in their spring practice finale. Traditionally, a spring game takes place but the day holding other plans. Players participating in a round-robin style tournament day with different games like dodgeball, tic-tac-toe, QB accuracy drills, 7-on-7 and more.

Head Coach Sean Lewis even getting in on the action during 7-on-7. Coach Lewis citing looking out for the health of players as one of the factors, and of course celebrating the camaraderie aspect of the team letting a little loose together. "Yea, I mean we used to allow people to smoke on planes as well, and then time evolved and we did things differently for the health and safety of everyone is my responsibility to care for the health and safety of our team.



" Now the players will look ahead to tackling their finals, and of course gear up for their August 28th season opener at home against Stony Brook..
