Samuel Beckett festival breathes new life into the NI cultural landscape

Celebrate the writer’s birthday twice over next two weekends with the Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival Liam Browne, the event’s literary director, and festival founder Sean Doran The words and themes of one of drama’s most famous plays is at the heart of a free Holy Week event in Enniskillen. Oh My Godot! takes inspiration from Dubliner Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot (1953), and its structure from the Good Friday Agreement. As an aside, Beckett was born on Good Friday, April 13, 1906.
