Samsung is reportedly planning to release a new camera update for the Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung has reverted the One UI 6.1.1 update and is currently developing a new version.

After the launch of One UI 6.1.1, several users of the Galaxy S23 Ultra reported issues with the camera producing blurry images.

Specifically, photographs taken with a zoom level between 16x and 19.9x appeared unclear. Such a flaw is unacceptable for a flagship device like the S23 Ultra.

1.1 update, a moderator on the Samsung forum announced that a new camera update is in the works for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Following this announcement, a new test build was detected on the Samsung OTA server, identified as version S918BXXU6CXI1.

The designation S918 refers to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, XI denotes September 2024, and 1 signifies the first test build. Samsung is anticipated to address the camera-related bugs in this forthcoming update. A user identified as Alfatürk has disclosed that Samsung is currently conducting tests on a new update for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Following the recent deployment of One UI 6.1.1 for the device, the update was subsequently retracted.

It is anticipated that Samsung will issue a new camera update in the near future, likely within the next month. Regrettably, the company does not announce official release dates for updates; however, the revelation of the test build is encouraging. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra One UI 6.
