Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ reportedly cleared by 3C, fast charging capabilities revealed

At the beginning of this month, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra obtained certification from the 3C authority in China. Subsequently, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ have also received approval from the same regulatory agency. Below are the anticipated fast charging features for both devices.

These certifications suggest that the fast charging functionalities of the S25 and S25+ will remain unchanged from their predecessors.

Consistent with the S24 series, the retail packages for the S25 models will not include a charger. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 will be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery, whereas the S25 Plus will feature a 4,900mAh battery. The S25 Ultra is projected to come with a 5,000mAh battery.

All these devices are expected to support both wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Notably, the 3C certification for the S25 Ultra indicates that it may be Samsung's inaugural smartphone to offer satellite connectivity. It is anticipated that all three S25 models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy chipset.
