Mumbai, September 17: South Korean tech giant Samsung officially launched the Galaxy F05 smartphone under its F series in India. Interestingly, it comes immediately after the recent launch of the Galaxy M05, wherein the phone sports a similar specification but gets a leather pattern design on the back. The Samsung Galaxy F05 will be available as a 4GB + 64GB sole variant with a price tag of INR 7,999.
The handset will be available from September 20 via Flipkart, the official website, and select retail outlets. The Samsung Galaxy F05 boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a regular 60Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.

The budget smartphone draws power from MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, wherein the latter is expandable up to 1TB via microSD. It runs on Samsung’s OneUI 5 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box, and the tech giant has promised to offer 2-year of OS updates and 4-year of security updates.
