Samsung has finally added the Galaxy A55 into its One UI 7.0 beta program. This makes it the next mid-range Galaxy phone to get a taste of Android 15, following the Galaxy A56 and A36.

However, it’s live for South Korean users for now. Users based in the region can sign up as beta testers by simply logging in to the Samsung Members app using the Samsung Account linked with the phone.Once logged in, simply tap the One UI 7 Beta Program (A55) > then head to Settings > Software Update to download and install the update.

Though the update promises design changes and functionality improvements, details on the new features are still under wraps. South Korea is the first market to get the beta, but rumors suggest that countries like India, the UK, and the US could get it soon.By offering this beta to a mid-range device like the A55, Samsung is shifting its approach, typically seen with flagship devices.

Despite a delayed start, the update is a win for A55 users who’ve been waiting for the latest software.Expect more regions to join the beta in the coming days as Samsung continues to refine One UI 7.0 for its mid-range phones.

Flagship models have already received the One UI 7.0 beta and are expected to get the stable version in April. It remains to be seen if Samsung can keep up with the timeline for those stable rollouts.
