Salman Khan worked on Sikandar despite a rib injury. Salman Khan had previously shared that he kept working on Sikandar despite a rib injury. Now, his co-star Vikaas Verma has given more details about Salman’s dedication, revealing that in addition to filming, Salman also rode his cycle and worked out at the gym while dealing with the injury.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vikaas said he noticed Salman’s injury early on. He mentioned seeing Salman adjust himself on set, which made him feel for him, knowing Salman must be in pain. “I had noticed this early on – he had a rib injury.
I had seen him do it every time, adjusting himself on set like that, and it would make me feel the pain, too, thinking that he must be in pain somewhere. He had this issue with his shoulder as well. So in front of us, his shoulder massage would be constantly going on, or he would be doing it here.
Sajan had advised him to keep doing that. So, his physiotherapy was always ongoing," he recalled. Vikaas Verma talked about Salman Khan’s dedication to fitness, saying that even with his injury, Salman kept working out.
He shared, “Despite that, he would still come to the set and work out at the gym or ride a cycle for an hour in the rough field. He would cycle to the set, cycle back, work out at the gym, and then stand the whole day. I don’t want to mention his age because he doesn’t seem that old to me.
" In a promotional video with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan said, “I danced despite my injuries." He added, “There are four songs in the film. In one of the songs, I broke my ribs, and shot for it the next day.
I couldn’t sit, stand, cough or even laugh. In one of the steps, I am holding my ribs, we made that as a step. All the dancers then followed the same step.
