Salman Khan on lack of support for his projects from other actors: 'Sabko zaroorat padti hai'

Salman Khan recently spoke about the need for support for his films from fellow colleagues in Bollywood, which also includes his latest release Sikandar. In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Salman Khan addressed the lack of support from his colleagues when it comes to promoting his films. Despite his consistent efforts to promote the work of his friends and peers, regardless of budget or scale, he noted that many assume he doesn’t need the same in return.

However, he emphasized that, like everyone else, he too values and requires support. "Unko aisa lagta hoga ki zaroorat nahin padti mujhe. But, sabko zaroorat padti hai.



("They must think that I don’t need it. But everyone needs it)," the Sikandar actor revealed. During the interview, Salman Khan extended his support to fellow actors by acknowledging their upcoming films.

He gave a special shoutout to Sunny Deol’s action-packed film Jaat, confidently stating that with Sunny in the lead, the film is bound to be a hit. He said, "Then Jaat is also coming in some time. With the way Sunny is going, he will hit the ball out of the park.

Recently, he applauded the Malayalam film L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, which premiered just two days before Sikandar. Now, he has once again shown his camaraderie by backing Jaat, which is set to release on April 10, 2025.

Meanwhile, Sikandar released on March 30 and has crossed Rs 80 crore at the box office within four days of release. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Pratiek Smita Patil, Anjini Dhawan, and Sharman Joshi in key roles. Directed by A.
