Salma Hayek pairs up with a chef to prepare delicious recipe from 'Like Water for Chocolate'

Salma Hayek has teamed up with one of the world's best chefs to promote her new show. " Like Water for Chocolate ," now streaming on Max, is produced by Hayek's company, Ventanarosa, and has been met with great acclaim due to its romance, stunning attention to detail, and some of the incredible food that it painstakingly depicts onscreen. As Hayek and Olvera prepare the dish , the two are seen slicing produce and protein, carefully showing the audience how the mole is made. They highlight that what makes this dish interesting are the roses and the rosewater, granting the mole its unique flavor. Upon trying the sauce, Hayek seemed surprised by how good it tasted.



"Oh wow," said Hayek. Olvera continued to explain what went into the sauce and the process of making it, but Hayek was too distracted by the mole."I'm sorry you talk too much," she said, dipping her finger in the sauce again.

Hayek was accompanied by her stepson, Augustin James , who also tried the food. "Augie come try this," she called out. "He's a very difficult critic.
