In Premier League , Liverpool underlined their title credentials this season, while closest competitors Arsenal dropped points. Manchester City had to fight back against Crystal Palace and Manchester United faced the dubious double against Newcastle.
In La Liga , Barcelona's winning streak continued, this time despite a goal-less outing for the team's stars while Real Madrid kept pace with a narrow win too. Bundesliga saw the 137th league edition of Der Klassiker end in a draw with both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund scoring second-half goals while Serie A leaders Inter Milan maintained their lead with Lautaro Martínez continuing his scoring streak.
