RUTH Langsford has revealed her mum is in hospital after a nasty fall as fans flooded the star with support. The Loose Women presenter took to social media to reveal her Christmas plans have been thrown into chaos by Joan's injury. Ruth, 64, told fans she has fractured her pelvis and is in hospital recovering.

She is incredibly close to her mum and previously broke down in tears over not being able to visit during the peak of coronavirus lockdown rules.
Joan regularly features in Ruth's social media updates as she visits her on the weekends, where they prepare dinner together. It comes as The Sun revealed how Ruth's estranged husband Eamonn Holmes is set to marry his girlfriend Katie Alexander.
