The newest member of the New York Giants quarterback room won't have to worry about changing jersey numbers for the 2025 campaign. Even though No. 3 was previously worn by third-year cornerback Deonte Banks last season, it seems the two have come to an agreement of sorts that will allow the 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback to wear the same number he's had his entire career.
Wilson gave Banks, a former first-round pick, a shout-out on social media after it was announced he'd be wearing No. 3. Salute to my guy & young star Tae Banks! Grateful for you letting me wear #3 King! Full of gratitude 🙏🏾🙏🏾 @Giants It's unclear whether Wilson had to compensate Banks for the jersey number, but that's typically the way these things work.
