He was faced with the challenge of being the first member of his family to go to law school.



Not knowing what to expect or even if he could make it work, Nicolet relied on his perseverance to make the first steps on the path to becoming a lawyer. If he could do this, he knew that he would be equipped with the knowledge to help others in their times of need. He worked continuously to learn more and improve his skills, seeking out mentors who were willing to lend him a hand.

Soon enough, Nicolet graduated from law school and became a lawyer. “I spent a lot of time as a young attorney doing research in the Washington County Law Library to make sure that I effectively handle cases for clients, even though I was a brand new attorney,” Nicolet recalls. “I think becoming obsessed with getting clients' problems solved and wanting to get better was what really made a difference for me.

” Founding and Improving Nicolet Law Nicolet took the same persevering approach to starting his own law office, practicing general litigation in his early career before focusing in on injury law. He initially had a lot of attorneys to learn from, and he soaked up all the knowledge he could. Even if they were working as his opposition, he still learned from the good ones.

As his practice area grew more refined, the attorneys he could learn from became smaller. Accordingly, he expanded his learning to train with the best injury attorneys in the world, visiting Florida, Georgia, New York, and California several times to learn from the best. Awards and Recognitions As a result of his willingness to learn and improve, Nicolet has received several awards and recognitions throughout his career.

He has been acknowledged among the Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers and the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association and recognized as a SuperLawyer by SuperLawyers Magazine. That said, he is proud of the results he earns for the people he is honored to represent.
