Roseville police investigating 'explosive device' that damaged vehicle

An "explosive device" was set off inside a vehicle Thursday morning in Roseville, officials said. The Roseville Police Department was dispatched around 6 a.m., to Circuit Drive after receiving reports of a possible vandalized vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found that some kind of explosive device had gone off and shattered the vehicle's glass windows, Roseville police said. No injuries were reported and no one was near the vehicle at the time of the explosion. It does appear the vehicle was targeted for unknown reasons, Roseville police said.
