Rosanna Davison has revealed that she no longer shares a bed with her husband Wes Quirke. The former Miss World and her husband Wes, who she tied the knot with back in 2014, have three children together — Sophia who was born via surrogate, and twins Hugo and Oscar. Speaking on the new episode of Dermot Whelan’s Mind Full podcast, Rosanna gave an insight into some of the changes that being a mum to three young children has had on her life.
‘I found that becoming a mum has changed me profoundly. I can barely even remember the person I used to be before I had kids. ‘I’ve had to streamline and simplify my life so much to be able to get everything done that I need to do, in terms of career, housework, doing the supermarket shop, all those kinds of things, and then having the rest of the day to give my time to them,’ she said.
Rosanna added: ‘Social life? I mean what is that?’ While things couldn’t be going better for the young family, Rosanna admitted that she and Wes have been ‘sleep divorced’ for around two years due to her children’s sleep habits. She explained: ‘Wes and I have been sleep divorced for the last year and a half, two years. He sleeps in the spare bed in the room with Sophia because she tends to wake in the night – it’s like divide and conquer.
‘I sleep in the, what was our bed, because the twins always come to me. So I’m always woken by two boys in my bed at half five in the morning, it’s more raunchy than it obviously is! ‘But we laugh, I’m always like, “Oh, well, you know, two boys in my bed, neither of them is my husband”.’ Meanwhile, Rosanna informed her Instagram followers last month that she’s found her family’s ‘forever home’ , with renovations on the property already underway.
‘We began searching for the perfect forever home for our family soon after our twins were born four years ago. Somewhere special to make family memories together. Earlier this year, we found it.
‘We picked up our keys at the beginning of September and began planning some interior structural work – we’re standing in what will eventually be our kitchen! We’ve asked the talented @geri_designs to help us design our dream home and all the fun of choosing paint colours, flooring, furniture and fabrics is now underway. ‘I’ll share renovation and interiors updates as I go for anyone interested in home transformations,’ she said..
