India's captain, Rohit Sharma, is calling on fans to join the team for the open bus victory parade celebrating their T20 World Cup win. The parade is set to kick off at 5 PM on Thursday, July 4. The team will first arrive in New Delhi early Thursday morning to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi before departing for Mumbai via a chartered flight.
The final leg of the journey will see the team travel to the Wankhede Stadium in an open bus for the last 1km. In a message shared on social media on Wednesday, Rohit extended a warm invitation to fans to be a part of the celebrations during the open bus victory parade.
