Rohit Sharma created history and etched his name in history books during his 18-run knock for Mumbai Indians against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday (April 14). The MI opener got off to a positive start and scored 18. But he failed to convert it into a big one and was trapped in front of the stumps by Vipraj Nigam.
Rohit has scores of 0,8, 13, 17 and 18 in IPL 2025. He has struggled with the bat but has the team management's backing. Rohit captained MI to five IPL title wins from 2013 to 2020.

He replaced Rohit as the captain before IPL 2024. Hardik-led MI finished at the last spot in the table. MI have struggled in IPL 2025 MI only managed their second win of the season when they defeated Delhi Capitals (DC).
