Rochester tops Tenino in low-scoring affair

The Rochester boys golf team came away with a win on Tuesday, as the Warriors topped Tenino 205-220 at Riverside. Boden Grimm led the Warriors with a 48, while Gavin Revel and Cash Edminster also impressed with a 50 and 51, respectively. Kellen Douthit and Colby Dunkin rounded out the Rochester scoresheet with a 56 and 57.

Tenino’s Jaxson Gore finished with a match-best 45, while Ethan Baxter posted a 52. Gabe Hart shot a 60, Joey Gaidrich added a 63, and Gavin Derrick finished with a 67. Both teams will hit the road Monday, as Tenino will head to the Longview Country Club to face Kalama while Rochester will head to Alderbrook for a tournament.
