Saturday was a different story as the Grizzlies started strong and didn’t let up until the game’s outcome was no longer in doubt. Rochester scored 3:09 into the game, as defenseman-turned-center Twanne Haisma notched his second goal of the season for a 1-0 lead. Three minutes later, Baylor Stebbins scored his second of the year to make it 2-0.
A pair of Rochester natives scored in the second period, as John Marshall graduate Mason Decker and Century grad Aiden Emerich scored goals, as did first-year Grizzly Tyler Steuck, to extend the team’s lead to 5-0.
