Robin Roberts is officially addressing her absence from Good Morning America after some fans started accusing her of “playing hooky” from her job. Roberts has been absent from the daily morning show since April 4, with Rebecca Jarvis filling in for her, and some fans were worried initially after reports of major shakeups on the show. After fellow hosts previously had health scares and were forced to take their own hiatus from the show, others also grew concerned that something was wrong with the 64-year-old.

Now, after some seemed to think she was just “playing hooky,” she took to social media to share where she had been before returning to the show on the April 14 episode. Roberts seemingly addressed her absence by sharing a series of photos on her Instagram account which showed she had, in fact, been on vacation, and enjoyed being away with both friends, her wife Amber, and their dog, Lukas.

Revealing she was on a trip to Key West with them, fellow GMA anchor Gio Benitez and his husband Tommy, as well, Roberts shared a few snaps from the adventure. In addition to showing pictures and videos of her beloved pet having fun, she also featured snaps of Amber on the beach looking out on the water, as well as one that appeared to be taken from a boat during sunset.
