The Ibrox side go back home for the first time in this campaign when Dundee visit in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup . The match will see Rangers play at the Govan ground for the first time, as their Copland Stand delay meant they had to controversially rent Hampden for the first part of the season. Propper, who is likely to make his Ibrox debut on Saturday, claimed: “That can have a positive impact on the season.

It was nice on Sunday to see how many fans were cheering for us. I’ve never experienced that before in Holland at an away stadium with so many fans. If we can do that at a game at Ibrox together, that would be really special.

That’s going to make a big difference for us. I’m looking forward to stepping out there a lot. “That’s one of the reasons you come to Rangers – to be part of that with the fans in the stadium.

I’m really glad it’s now going to happen. I hope we can improve and do a lot of good things there.” There was a disconnect between Rangers and elements of their support after their 3-0 derby loss.

It led to some angry clashes with supporters and Clement and captain James Tavernier . Philippe Clement believes they are now together again after their 1-0 weekend win at Tannadice. He stated: “The most important thing was that it felt like a home game.

Our fans were amazing again. You feel that synergy between the fans and the team. We are looking forward to going to Ibrox again to feel this 10 times more.

” Philippe Clement had to do a major overhaul of the Rangers squad over the summer and also had to cut the wage bill in the process. He knows it will take time but he believes his revolution is heading in the right direction. He explained: “The club was at the end of a cycle.

There wasn’t much money to spend. We had to cut wages. There were seven players who went out for zero pounds and so you need to be inventive to get quality in the building and to invest in young talented players.

“People start to see more and more the good work the recruitment team did in that way. If you see the little amount of money we had to bring in the Jeftes, Connor Barrons and Igamanes. We are on the right track.

We need to improve a lot of things but that is normal with a rebuild. I know fans want direct results. “I am the first person to want direct results because I want to win every game and the players know that.

They want that also. We need to work on that and we need time to work on these things.” The likes of Nedim Bajrami only made his debut at the weekend and Hamza Iagamane has been given just two sub appearances.

“We have a lot of new players,” the Rangers boss, speaking to BBC Sport, added. “Some are a few weeks here and some a few days. “Bajrami doesn’t even know all the names of his colleagues for the moment.

It is important we get that integration as fast as possible to keep growing and to get better as a team. “Its needs time to gel the team and to understand what they need to do together.”.
