The walkway leading to Elizabeth Street bridge has been fenced off for more than two years.Auckland Council talked the talk and is now walking the walk.If you follow the crumbling concrete path behind the Queen Street shops heading towards the Elizabeth Street bridge you’ll eventually hit a heavy-duty temporary fence blocking access to the underpass – in other words, a dead-end.
