Ridgewood player fighting cancer leads team in season-opening win - Boys basketball

Johnny Jackson, a Ridgewood player undergoing cancer treatment, put on an inspiring display by scoring a game-high 30 points to lead the Maroons to a 64-48 win over St. Joseph (Mont.), in Ridgewood.

The senior guard made his season debut after being diagnosed with Stage 4B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in July.
