On April 13, Richa took to her Instagram handle and penned an emotional post, shedding light on the emotional struggles that new mothers endure in silence. Regardless of age, gender, or religious beliefs, Richa emphasised that this inexplicable grief appears to impact people from all areas of life, making it a ‘universal struggle’ in today’s society. Richa, who welcomed a daughter on July 16, 2024, with her husband and actor, Ali Fazal, shared a candid post about the emotional struggles she has been facing.



She claimed to have been living her life almost as a witness, describing a sense of detachment despite the joy of bringing a new life into the world. “For the past few months, I have been grappling with something while experiencing my life as a new mom, almost as a witness..

. and with that, emotions that come like waves of the ocean," she added.
